Hello from Florida! We are currently in our whirlwind fall tour. Have had a couple of great events have seen over a dozen people make commitments to Christ. Will be working an event called Roscoe's Chili Challenge this weekend. This event is advertised in some of the more raunchy biker magazines as the greatest adult biker party in Florida. It is known for it's immorality. I will be preaching the gospel from the main stage at a memorial service on Sunday morning of this party. I can't express how excited I am about this. Last year as we went through about 50 gallons of coffee and 40 dozen donuts in about 1 and a half hours God gave me a vision for this event. I realized that Friday and Saturday really belong to the devil. We are engaging in intense Spiritual warfare just by being present at this event, but Sunday belongs to God. As we gave away all our coffee and donuts last year I realized that God was giving an opportunity for us to make an impact in lives. I wanted to figure out how to take advantage of the brief time people are breaking camp and heading home. Attitudes change as people sober up and get ready to hit the road. All the vendors are closed and we are the only people offering anything to this group of people who have cast off all restraint for the last couple of days. Our worship service under our small tent is usually attended by my staff and have seemed to be ineffective. I decide to try and do something bikers could really relate to. We will be honoring all those who have fallen this last year. I have had a bible engraved with the words "Gone but not forgotten." Each person submitting a name for the memorial service will be given one of these Bibles with a certificate tucked in the front cover giving the details of the occasion. The fact that the promoter is allowing us to use the main stage is an incredible answer to prayer. This is the kind of thing that can attract hundreds of individuals in a very short time. Please pray for this event as the harvest potential is huge. The official date of the event is November 4-5.
